You must arrive 15 minutes prior to the lesson time. This time is used for cleaning and tacking up the horse. When using a horse that is being provided by NBS, the tack will be provided. It is your responsibility to clean the tack provided after the lesson. If not cleaned then there will be a $15 cleaning fee on the next invoice for each time the tack was not cleaned.

When purchasing a series the payment is due by the 3rd of the month. If the payment is not there by the 3rd then it will be normal pricing of paying per lesson. If paying per lesson payment is due after the lesson. Checks made to New Beginnings Stable.
Riding Waiver: Every Rider must sign a Release and Indemnification Form before riding. No exceptions. Waivers are available at first lesson to sign; no lessons will start without the waiver being signed.
Weather: Students will be notified if lessons are cancelled due to severe weather. Lessons cancelled by NBS will be rescheduled.
Cancellation policy: When you sign up for a discounted Lessons Package, a weekly time slot is reserved for you. NBS makes every effort to schedule our lessons with our horses’ best interest at heart. Please make every effort to keep your appointment as makeup lessons cannot be guaranteed.
Advanced notice of lesson cancellation is required. ONLY LESSONS THAT HAVE BEEN CANCELLED IN ADVANCE WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE MADE UP. All makeup lessons must be taken within 30 days of the original lesson. We will make every effort to accommodate your makeup, however, makeups are not guaranteed and are subject to the availability of horse and instructor. Students arriving more than  minutes past the starting time will not be mounted, but may audit the lesson and participate from the ground. A mounted lesson missed for tardiness will not be made up. No shows are counted as a lesson. Makeup lessons may be mounted or unmounted at instructor’s discretion.
Dress Code: Riding helmets and boots with heels are mandatory whenever mounted. Jeans and paddock boots with chaps or breeches with boots are preferred. Hair should be neatly hidden under helmets with hair nets or braids for long hair. Tank tops, spaghetti straps, flip flops and/or shorts are not permitted.
